Rudrabhishek puja

Lord shiva is also called rudra. Rudrabhisheka is a ritual of worshipping Lord Shiva in his Rudra form.  In this method Shivalinga is bathed in water which continuously keeps pouring on it through a vessel along with the continuous chanting of Vedic mantras.

Abhishek  is a ritual in the, which you worship of God with substances like milk (cow milk), Ghee, Curd, honey, coconut water, rice, water, sugarcane juice, powdered sugar and several more similar items as advised by pandits. These spiritual items used in the puja are generally those items, which are liked by the Lord Shiva.

• Month of shravan
• Specially the Mondays of shravan
• If anyone  is affected by mangal dosha then it is good to perform this puja on Tuesdays
• If anyone is suffering from pitra dosha then it’s good to perform this puja on chaudas or Amavasya.
