Satyanarayan Puja

Shri Satyanarayan Puja is performed to seek blessing of God Narayan which is one of the forms of Lord Vishnu. The Lord in this form is considered an embodiment of truth.

The ritual worship of Lord Vishnu or Sri Satyanarayan Puja is generally performed on a full moon day or Purnima of every month or on any special occasion such as achieving a milestone or fulfilling a wish, as a special thanksgiving to the Godhead of the Hindu Trinity.

Satya means “truth” and Narayana means “The highest being” so Satyanarayan means “The highest being who is an embodiment of Truth”.

Significance of Satya Narayana Pooja-Satyanarayan Pooja is one of the best & easiest ways to seek blessings from Lord Vishnu, who is the God responsible for maintenance of this Universe.

Typically Satyanarayan Pooja is to be performed before and/or after the fulfillment of our desires e.g. if you want to achieve some important milestones in your life like success in Higher Education, Success in career, promotion, buying a new vehicle, new house, starting a new business, negotiating big professional deals etc... There is no hard and fast rule as to when Satyanarayan Pooja to be performed.  Morning or evening time is ideal for Pooja. The months of Kartik, Vaisakh, Shravan and Chaitra in the Hindu calendar are ideal for this ritual
