Engagement Puja

This Puja, or ceremony, is performed for good luck to be bestowed onto the married couple and their families, so that whatever obstacles they may face will be destroyed. All auspicious ceremonies in the Hindu religion commence with a prayer to Lord Ganesh. Engagement Puja is done to assure the happiness in couple’s life. This ceremony is performed few months before the marriage which is as per the Hindu rituals. With this ceremony boy & girl get into a new relationship that is also said to be the formal announcement of marriage and start planning for the big event. In this puja the couple’s exchanges the wedding rings and pray to God for the new beginning of life
